When is October half term 2025?
Here are the October half-term dates for 2025 across England, Wales, and Scotland. Be sure to check your local council’s website for the exact dates in your area, as they may vary!
England October Half Term Dates:
- Most schools in England will break up on Friday, 27th October, and return a week later on Monday, 6th November.
- Some schools may start their half-term break earlier, finishing on Friday, 17th October, and returning on Monday, 27th October.
Wales October Half Term Dates:
- All schools in Wales will close on Friday, 27th October, with students returning on Monday, 6th November.
Scotland October Half Term Dates:
- In most parts of Scotland, schools will break up on Friday, 11th October, and return on Monday, 21st October.
- However, in some areas, this may differ
